Our AutoCAD for Beginners course is a great way to get the basics of using AutoCAD for all disciplines; but if you are a home builder, you may prefer our specialized course that focuses on the AutoCAD skills that architects use most when designing residential projects. Using a single project throughout the class, we will encounter the steps needed to make an residential home project work using AutoCAD.

This course is designed for architects and builders with either some, or no AutoCAD experience. At the end, you’ll be able to create 2D floor plans, elevations, and schedules to fully document your project.

No AutoCAD experience is required. Some Windows experience is required. You should know how to use a mouse, and keyboard, and rename files at the very least.

The class is also intended to prepare a student for the Autodesk Certified Professional in AutoCAD for Design and Drafting exam
